Our "Rehab Recipe" or "spec sheet"
When we were flipping houses, we knew it was essential to choose the finishes to provide to our general contractor. We came up with what we called our "rehab recipe" and provided it with the scope of work. It included SKU numbers, prices, and pictures. Although this idea is more than ten years old, it could still be helpful to others who are in the rehab stage. We now have a similar document for new construction, which we call a "spec sheet" since we've grown up.
